{THIS POST MAY BE HARZARDOUS AND OFFENSIVE TO A RELIGIOUS MIND}

Those of us who left orthodox Christianity {i come from a Roman Catholic background} have replaced the “saints” as our intermediary betwen us and God and replaced them with “our man of God”…

 

Now in the African Churches you hear people say i called on the God of…”pastors name”…. or you hear them sing “the God of “pastor…” is my God…is He not the God of the members?

My pastors, we have allowed our members to turn us into idols

We have “idolized” our pastors especially in black Africa that we have taken the place of the Holy Ghost in the life of the believer…now pastors decide when members travel or not…members are led by the pastor not the Holy Spirit… before they take a decision if the pastor has not spoken then it is not the will of God...that is witchcraft!

After service, we are whisked into his office with two body guards or call them protocol officers standing by the door nobody goes in and the pastor leaves through the back door of the office in the name of protecting the anointing when the one we serve, Jesus eat with publicans and touched lepers, related with prostitutes to be able to minister to them. He was called a wine bibber and a friend of sinners

You will hardly see this with our European counterparts only in Africa…

Now there are churches were before you are a member there is a service where the new members swear allegiance to the pastor before the congregation and sign an oath of loyalty to the “Apostle” can someone please point that out to me in the New Testament

Unfortunately this is what the ignorant people want…black people {Africans} always want someone to “RULE THEM” they seem to have a need for it so it works for us pastors. {My personal observation}

REVELATION 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

  REVELATION 22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.

REVELATION 22:9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
