A Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you. I thank God for bringing us to end of 2012 the end of another glorious year which He crowned with His goodness…
PSALM 65:11 thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.
The world celebrates the birth of our Lord on 25th DECEMBER, and this in itself is significant based on Psalm 65:11, the birth of our Lord was heralded with joy and it marked the beginning of the redemption of man from the power and authority of satan
A dream was birthed in the heart of Mary and she conceived it in her spirit and it became manifested in the flesh, as a believer you also have a dream from God in your spirit a purpose to fulfill.
The vision from God you are carrying may be earth shaking but take note that like Jesus that dream may have to be born in a manger! Who would have thought that the son of God will have to be born in a manger? A lowly place among animals…the son of God, the king Himself in flesh born in a manger among animals He created but God’s wisdom is beyound us.
The world would have expected Him to be born in a palace, your dream and God-given destiny which you have conceived in the womb of your spirit may also be born in a manger…God always starts everything as a seed…
Zechariah 4:10a for who hath despised the day of small things?
Do you feel like you did not achieve anything in 2012, that it has been a wasted year in which your dreams and aspirations have not been accomplished? No money for that ministry? Your business did not go as well as you hoped? it is like no fruit is coming forth, friend remember your Lord and Saviour how He was born in a manger among cows and animals, smelly little dark room but today the whole world cannot recover from the impact of that first Christmas. Lowly beginnings. Your dream business, ministry may still be in that one small classroom somewhere nowhere and yet you are sure God called you, that church is now five years and is still in that primary school classroom…keep that dream alive!!
Imagine Mary’s reaction when the inns turned her away, was God not prepared for the birth of His son? How can there be no room for the one who created everything? is this baby, this vision not from God?... I have felt like that the last few years!
Job 8:7 though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase
Your later end should greatly increase…the vision has the potential to increase..It says it should not it will, this means it may or may not depending on you, your mindset and attitudes in your present circumstances and situations
Mary was given a vision of a son. she knew the baby in her womb was of the Holy Ghost but she had to travail in labour…that your dream is from God does not mean there will not be labour pains, friend like Mary you will have to travail to give birth to that vision that dream from God on the inside of you… and any woman will tell you that it is not a pleasant experience but soon you will have the “baby” in your hand
Friend you will go through the challenges of bringing forth the vision. You will shed tears and groan like a woman in travail but as soon as Zion travailed she brought forth..Your vision from God may have to be born in a manger!
You must despise the shame, the mockery, the reproach from friends, foes and family, keep at it…it will speak one day and like the day Jesus was born, your star will rise and men will follow it and come to the brightness of your rising…
Isaiah 60:3 and the gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising
Forget about the mistakes of the past years(s) let them pass with the past, learn your lessons and move on!
Your dream may be in a manger but it will not remain there
