WHO CAN CURSE WHAT GOD HAS BLESSED?

NO CURSE CAN OPERATE IN YOUR LIFE...

INTRODUCTION.

There is so much emphasis on curses in the body of Christ and this negates what the Bible teaches about the new creation, the body of Christ.

As believers we have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, we have become new creatures in Christ

WE ARE BLESSED AND CAN'T BE CURSED

Ephesians 1:3

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

2 Corinthians 3:11

11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious...THE NEW COVENANT IS MORE GLORIOUS

A. HE HAS REDEEMED US FROM THE AUTHORITY OF DARKNESS

COLOSIANS  1:13-14Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have predemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:  foot note Explain redemption

2:Corinthians 5:17......Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us:we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

In the old testament God was imputing sin to man and thus they were paying for their sin

SIN HAS NO OVER US:...ROMAN 6:14...,For sin shall not have dominion over you:for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

 Sin s hall not rule over you..because you are under grace. 

Grace is Gods answer to the sin question in man. He no longer deals with man according to mans sin but according to the Righteousness of His son..He has accepted the sacrifice of His son or mans Sin. No longer based on what we do or don't do but on what Jesus has done.

Romans4:17...Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin

HEBREWS 8:  10-12... For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts:and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord:for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away

SIN, INIQUITY IS THE ROOT OF THE CURSES AND EVIL

JESUS WAS OUR SUBSTITUTE FOR OUR SINS

All of your sickness, curses, poverty, every evil as a result of sin was put on Jesus and He carried them...

Psalms 103:3

3 .Who forgiveth all thine iniquities;

who healeth all thy diseases;

Isaiah 53:5

5 .But he was wounded for our transgressions,

he was bruised for our iniquities:

the chastisement of our peace was upon him;

and with his stripes we are healed.

Galatians 1:4

4 .Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

Matthew 8:17

17 .That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Isaiah 53:4

4 .Surely he hath borne our griefs,

and carried our sorrows:

yet we did esteem him stricken,

smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions,

B.THE KEEPING OF THE LAW FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS  PUTS YOU UNDER THE CURSE

BUT WE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW BUT UNDER GRACE

Galatians 3:10

10 .For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse:for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curs

C. THE OLD COVENANT WAS GLORIOUS

NUMBERS 22:6, Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me:peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land:for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.

Vs 12: And God said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not go with them; thou shalt not curse the people:for they are blessed.

NUMBERS 23:8....How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed?

or how shall I defy, whom the Lord hath not defied?

NUMBERS 23:8

HE HAD NOT BEHELD INIQUITY IN JACOB

NUMBERS 23:21...He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob,

neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel:

the Lord his God is with him,

and the shout of a king is among them.

 God brought them out of Egypt;

he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.

 Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob,

neither is there any divination against Israel:

according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel,

What hath God wrought!

 Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion,

and lift up himself as a young lion:

he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey,

and drink the blood of

PROVERBS 26:2 ....As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying,

so the curse causeless shall not come.

D. THE NEW COVENANT IS MORE GLORIOUS

IN THE NEW COVENANT WE HAVE BETTER PROMISES...

RELIGION WILL KILL....THE BIGGEST BURDEN MAN HAS TO BEAR.

JESUS IS OUR LIFE

HE HAS REDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW..GALATIANS 3:13

EPHESIANS 1:3...

HE HAS BLESSED US WITH ALL SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS IN HEAVENLY PLACES.

GOD SEES YOU THROUGH THE BLOOD HE SEES YOU AS PERFECT AND THE BLOOD CLEANSES FROM ALL SIN

HE HAS PERFECTED US IN CHRIST.

DOES IT MEAN NO ONE IN ISRAEL WAS IN SIN...A PICTURE OF JUSTIFICATION ...THAT IS HOW HE SEES THE CHURCH..

JESUS IS THE LAMB....IT IS JESUS THAT IS EXAMINED NOT YOU.

THERE IS NO RECORD OF YOUR SIN...IT HAS BEEN REMITTED.

ROMANS 8:1  CONDEMNATION FOR THOSE IN CHRIST....THE BLOOD OF JESUS HAS MADE ME RIGHTEOUS.

IT IS A GREAT SALVATION.

CONCLUSION:

BECOME BLESSING MINDED BY RENEWING YOUR MIND IN THE WORD. THE BLESSING OF THE LORD MAKES RICH AND ADDS NO SORROW...THE CURSE HAS BEEN BROKEN WHEN HE WAS BROKEN ON THE TREE....

BECOME GRACE CONSCIOUS AND NOT PERFORMANCE CONSCIOUS....LIVE IN THE REALM OF HIS GRACE  

YOU CAN'T BE CURSED.

Galatians 3:10

13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us:for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

STAND FAST IN THE LIBERTY YOU HAVE

Galatians 5:1

1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

DON'T LET IGNORANT PREACHERS PUT YOU AGAIN IN BONDAGE AND BEWITCH YOU
